Monash Offers Attractive Travel Grants
Monash University is offering attractive travel grants for students to exchange to any of its 115 partner universities in 25 countries.
Travel grants of up to RM28,000 per annum will allow a student to spend one or two semesters at a selected university in the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, Sweden and Denmark, among other countries.
The university’s pioneering education system known as the Monash Passport gives students the flexibility to choose a preferred study pathway towards earning their degree, preparing them to become global citizens.
Monash University Sunway campus encourages students to gain an international exposure by spending three to six months at a foreign university while earning credit towards their Monash degree. This develops students to be graduates with employable qualities.
Pre-assessed study plans have been developed by the heads of schools at Monash University Sunway campus, allowing for a simplified exchange process.
Students may pursue educational experiences at University of North Carolina and University of California in the United States; Uppsala University in Sweden; and University of Leeds, University of Liverpool and Reading University in the United Kingdom, among other institutions.
Participating in an exchange program requires no additional tuition fee as Monash University Sunway campus wants its students to go abroad for a distinctive international experience.
Monash University is a member of Australia’s prestigious Group of Eight universities, and is ranked among the top 50 universities in the world by UK’s Times Higher Education Supplement.

When Tan Shu Yi studied at the Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada, she spent many weekends and semester breaks hopping across the border to the United States.
